I didn’t say it was a technology only problem. However, because we consume something invisible, the impact on global resources may be less front of mind than if we were buying physical products, since they’re not piling up in boxes at the door.

I would also say that I’m not saying anyone is to blame. I think that the cloud providers can run data centers way more efficiently than you or I can. However, we should lobby for more openness in this area.
